How to use PDF to ZIP
Step 1
Add the PDFs. Card order is the order inside the ZIP.
Step 2
Keep files whole, or cut them into single pages or parts. Set the name pattern, folder and compression.
Step 3
Click Create ZIP and download the archive.
Put PDFs in a ZIP online free, or split every PDF into single pages inside the ZIP. Name pattern, folders and compression level, all in your browser. No upload. Processing never leaves this tab.
Frequently asked questions
Are my PDFs uploaded to make the ZIP?
No. The archive is built in your browser tab. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Are my PDFs changed when they go in the ZIP?
Not when you keep files whole: each PDF is stored byte for byte, so it is identical to the original after you unzip it.
Can I split every PDF into single pages inside the ZIP?
Yes. Choose One PDF per page, or Every N pages, and each file is cut into parts that are real PDFs with selectable text. You can put each source file's parts in its own folder.
How are the files named?
With a pattern. {name} is the original name, {index} the file's number, {part} the part number padded to the same width, and {from} and {to} the page range. Duplicate names get a number instead of overwriting each other.
Does compression matter?
PDFs are already compressed, so ZIP compression saves little. Store is the fastest; Max is the smallest. The choice does not change the PDFs inside.
